A great website with adsense and affiliate banners isn’t going to make you any money if no one knows it’s there. SEO content creation is only half the battle. Search Engine Submission
You don’t need to pay an arm and a leg for search engine submission; there are still some great search engines out there that allow free link submission. They will find you eventually on their own but it’s better if you give them a helping hand. First you should double check that your website is not already listed. Then you should submit your home page link. Do not submit multiple pages to the search engine as this could earn you a penalty and void your submission. With Google, if you have a Google account you can have a look at their webmasters tools, add your site to the dashboard and submit a site map to help Google navigate your website.

Directory Submission
Make sure you have a directory or external links page and start search for related directories. The main directory you should submit your site to is the open directory, after that you should search for directories that cover your content topic. Even if your website isn’t clicked on much from these directories they earn you back linking points with Google. Many of these directories offer a higher placement if you have reciprocal links, if it’s still free than this will only benefit you so take advantage of these offers.

Blog Creation
Create a blog with valid content in that is updated regularly. Submit your blog to the many blog specific directories that are out there and don’t forget to have reciprocal links in one of your widgets. You can even add more adsense links on your blog. Remember to link your blog to your website and make it relevant to your website so people will naturally follow on to your site. You can also search for related blog and make useful and informative comments on them. This will make people interested in your expertise and wander to your own blog. It will also make yet more back links to keep Google well fed.

Forum Posting
Always check the forum rules beforehand, but many forums allow you to have a link to your website in your signature. Do not just make a post all about your website, but make a few informative and in depth posts that show off your expertise in your chosen topic. Make sure it is a forum that is primarily about what your website is for. Keep posting and remember not to spam or advertise and you will not only pick up people form the forums but also get even more back links up.
