For anyone who is starting up their own online business or adsense website, you need to make sure you are getting noticed. A great website with adsense and affiliate banners isn’t going to make you any money if no one knows it’s there. SEO content creation is only half the battle. Once you have developed a great informational resource that has all the right keywords and content, you need to do some leg work around the online community. Here are some top tips for getting yourself noticed online:
Search Engine Submission
You don’t need to pay an arm and a leg for search engine submission; there are still some great search engines out there that allow free link submission. They will find you eventually on their own but it’s better if you give them a helping hand. First you should double check that your website is not already listed. Then you should submit your home page link. Do not submit multiple pages to the search engine as this could earn you a penalty and void your submission. With Google, if you have a Google account you can have a look at their webmasters tools, add your site to the dashboard and submit a site map to help Google navigate your website.
Directory Submission
Make sure you have a directory or external links page and start search for related directories. The main directory you should submit your site to is the open directory, after that you should search for directories that cover your content topic. Even if your website isn’t clicked on much from these directories they earn you back linking points with Google. Many of these directories offer a higher placement if you have reciprocal links, if it’s still free than this will only benefit you so take advantage of these offers.
Blog Creation
Create a blog with valid content in that is updated regularly. Submit your blog to the many blog specific directories that are out there and don’t forget to have reciprocal links in one of your widgets. You can even add more adsense links on your blog. Remember to link your blog to your website and make it relevant to your website so people will naturally follow on to your site. You can also search for related blog and make useful and informative comments on them. This will make people interested in your expertise and wander to your own blog. It will also make yet more back links to keep Google well fed.
Forum Posting
Always check the forum rules beforehand, but many forums allow you to have a link to your website in your signature. Do not just make a post all about your website, but make a few informative and in depth posts that show off your expertise in your chosen topic. Make sure it is a forum that is primarily about what your website is for. Keep posting and remember not to spam or advertise and you will not only pick up people form the forums but also get even more back links up.

If you are looking to become an SEO website owner building up a sizeable income from advertising, you should consider three main options; Google Adsense, Affiliate Ads and Amazon Affiliates. Having just one of these methods a few times on a page can be helpful but the best method of collecting monies from online advertising is to create a few different programs to choose from on your website.
Google Adsense is an advertising program created by Google that sends you a cheque at the end of each month with your earnings. You can customise your adverts to an extent and the adverts displayed will depend on your website content. You can also apply for Google Adsense through Blogger for your blog. Simply go to customize > layout > add a gadget. Then select Adsense from the options displayed. You will be taken through the set up process from there. If you have a blog and want to apply for Adsense your best bet at the moment is to create an Adsense account via Blogger as these applications will be quickly approved. Otherwise you are looking at a few weeks for approval due to a backlog that Google is currently suffering.
Amazon Affiliates requires you to create an account specifically with Amazon where you will then advertise only Amazon products. Because Amazon offers such a large range of products you can customise your adverts more specifically. You can choose the product type that will be advertised and advert type including content based adverts (like Google Adsense) or keyword based adverts where you type in the keywords you want the adverts to relate to. Amazon will provide you with up to 10% of all sales completed through these banners and you get a variety of different payment methods that include the traditional cheque method and direct debit payments.
General Affiliate Advertising
Most advertising affiliates will require you to have high website traffic in order to advertise their participating companies. This is more likely to become an option once you have become a well established business. You can get some free services for lower level companies and these are usually again based on all fully completed sales including a period of “grace” that allows for possible returns and refunds that would discount your earnings.

There is no point in placing AdSense code on your website if it is inaccessible to potential customers and potential clicks. AdSense ensure relevant ads are placed on your website, so if you want to talk about pets on your website for example, the adverts will all show pet related sites. If your website is about caring for pets, the AdSense unit may show ads such as “Buy pet collars Cheap” or “Pet Food R Us” and so on. This means people are more likely to click on these adverts as it is about something they are interested in and currently reading about.
So how do you get people to read your website content so that they will click your ads? It’s easy; you just need the right SEO specialist on your side who understands the importance of content. Your website content needs to be SEO driven to help you pick up on the right keywords. There is no right or wrong balance for keywords and article length, but it is important no remember that not having any keywords in your content will obviously mean less search engine results will point to your website and conversely too many keywords will result in your content not making sense and therefore not appealing to a reader.
Content needs to be able to engage a reader long enough for them to want to explore and “click” around. Having poor grammar, punctuation, spelling and little real information will make your potential customer leave almost as quickly as they came and will mean less clicks for you. Many people wonder why they receive so little AdSense clicks when they receive a large amount of unique site visits. There are a few reasons for this, but one of the most common and easily solvable problems is content. You may get 200,000 visitors per day to your website but are they sticking around? Do your keywords match your content and tell them what they want to know? Is your content readable, easy to understand, professional and above all relevant?
That is why content creation services are ideal for any aspiring AdSense entrepreneur. Get your content right, and you will see a remarkable difference in your AdSense clicks to visitor ratio.

These days it seems that everyone is making money online and you may feel like they all know some secret you don’t, or that you have to be a genius entrepreneur to earn online. There is some good news for you if that’s the case; there is a way to make money online that is so simple a child could do it! Its name is Google AdSense.
Google AdWords – and the AdSense technology behind it – is based on the idea that better marketing can be achieved with relevant adverts rather than with random ones. When you incorporate AdSense into your web pages, your visitors will see adverts that are directly relevant to your content, which means they are more likely to follow the links and earn you money with every click. You see, AdSense is what is known as a pay-per-click system, so every time one of your visitors clicks an ad, you earn a share of the money. It’s that simple, and all you need is a Google account that takes mere seconds to set up.
You no longer need to feel excluded from the money making elite and it really has never been easier. Incorporating some AdSense into your web pages – while it won’t make you rich overnight – will quickly add up to a nice little earner.
